Super Easy Apple Crisp!

**Pictures are not cooperating at the moment but as soon as they are this post will be all pretty with apple crisp pics 😉

Welcome to the world of EASY COOKING! I love this apple crisp recipe because it’s super basic but tastes amazing. This is a favorite dessert on our homestead and we’ve even been known to have it for breakfast… oats are breakfasty… right?!?!

For my YouTube video of how to make this awesome apple crisp head on over to our channel and check it out (don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE!)… https://www.youtube.com/edit?video_id=-4FxIoARyKw (or click “APPLE CRISP” below)

APPLE CRISP

* 3 apples peeled and sliced (4 if you have kiddos who will be begging for some to snack on while you are preparing the apple crisp)

* 1 TBS lemon juice (not necessary unless you are not going to bake right away)

* 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

* 1 cups oats (not the quick cook kind… just regular ol’ oats)

* 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed (I use light… you can use dark if you want)

* 1/2 teaspoon salt

* 1 teaspoon cinnamon

* 1/3 cup butter (melted)

Put apples in baking dish and sprinkle with lemon juice (optional). Combine dry ingredients, add melted butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake covered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are tender  Uncover for last 10 minutes of cooking. Makes 4-5 servings.
